The Cambrian 'explosion' of life
In evolutionary biology, the "Cambrian Explosion" marks a rather abrupt appearance of fossils, and remains a fascinating point in Earth's history. Pictured here is Lord Brahma (ब्रह्मा), presiding over the "Cambrian explosion". Pictured in green are the now extinct Trilobites; we also see Gastropoda shells which are around even today. These shells are used as Shankha (शंख) and hold special place in Hindu thought. I don't wish to give-away everything in this short blurb and the viewer is encouraged to take a deeper look at this innovative art.
